A STORY
The flash of light disappeared and there, lay on the ground were Hikaru, Umi and Fuu. Everyone gasped, they ran to the three Magic Knights, who didn't seem wounded, though they did seem tired… very tired… they lay still on the ground so fragile. Yet these three beings from another world have again saved Cephiro from destruction. "What do we do now, Clef?" Ferio watched the sorcerer transport them back to the castle by magic.
The dark clouds that shadowed Cephiro subsided, the people's fear were lessening as they try to move on with another chance for life. It was breathtaking to see them smile once more. "The knights are doing well," Presea watched the three beings from another world play with the citizens of Cephiro.
"Yes," Caldina smiled, "They seem to be at home here." The bandit sighed, "I'm glad that they're not going back. It would mean another chaotic happening if they do. So… who do you think will be the Empress to take Princess Emeraude's place?"
"I don't know…" Presea watched with a worried face, "I know I should be happy, but… when they came down from the mechas and recovered. They did not speak about their triumph, as if it was… just odd… they didn't say who was going to be the next defender, but just smiled at each other…"
"Hikaru hugged Lantis, Ferio to Fuu, and Umi to Clef. Presea," Caldina sighed, "You're not worried about their title, rather their love life… especially Clef."
"I just don't want him to get hurt… that's all…" Presea now turned to the purple-hair magician, who was gazing serenely at the blue head who seemed to be a goddess. Presea clenched her fist, "Something feels wrong."
"Princess Hikaru, please tell us another story," A girl with pink hair begged Hikaru as they settled down under the shade of a big tree, similar to a mango tree only with purple leaves.
"Hikaru looked at the her two companions who sighed. Her pink eyes met Fuu's green ones as they all settled down, "Well, I guess we could tell the story about Beauty and the Beast since last time, we told a story about Cinderella."
Umi carried the pink head girl, "It's rather the opposite of Cinderella, here, the girl did not wish a prince, but she was given a prince… a prince that looked like a beast."
The children that surrounded them widened their eyes as Hikaru started the story. The story began and as it ended the children longed for more, "Unfortunately, "Hikaru smiled, "We have to go now, it's getting dark."
"Oh you don't have to worry about that," A boy with dark green hair snickered, "You guys are here and will protect us."
The three female youths smiled, and if anyone who knew better saw their smile. They would distinguish that it was a smile with a deep burden hanging on the side…
